Late bloomer seeking hair stylist suggestions w4w Hey ladies,
Im just looking for some advice. Im a late blooming late 20s lady looking for a new lease on my appearance. I grew up the daughter of a tomboy mom (and had no sisters or cool aunts) who couldnt help shape me into a well put together woman because of her own hang-ups. I love her dearly, but I really needed a mentor for how to be a confident woman in this society.
The world is so focused on outer beauty, and Ive just never felt that beautiful. Ive been overweight my whole life and quite frankly a hair and fashion disaster for most of that time too. Within the last year and a half Ive taken control of my health and lost 45 pounds and counting, and Ive worked hard to improve my fashion as much as I could on my own (thank you F21+, haha), but my hair remains a disaster area. What Im looking for is a hair stylist who can see the beauty in people and is good at bringing it out. Im tired of being a quiet, bland wallflower and want to use this opportunity to continue coming out of my shell by having a style that says something.
I want to allow a stylist free artistic reign to do anything they want to my hair. Im totally open to just about any cut and any color. Im looking for someone who charges reasonable prices as I dont have a lot of expendable income, but I do understand that a good haircut and color will cost me.
