A Prairie Home Companion, Oct. 29 Join me for special fun in attending a live performance of "A Prairie Home Companion" on Saturday, October 29 at the World Arena in Colorado Springs. Great seats--only 18 rows from the stage. Plans for a date fell through. Life happens. Since the drive to the Springs will take a while, we should feel comfortable with each other and be able to enjoy each other's company. So, it's probably best to first talk some over the , meet in a public place and decide from there what works.
A bit about me: Very tall, well-proportioned, educated, fun, can more than hold my own in a conversation--that includes active listening--have a great down-to-earth, playful and irreverent sense of humor.
Since turnabout is fair play I fully expect the same in return. I'm able to laugh at myself and don't take myself too seriously, am laid-back, typiy wear Wranglers, boots and a traditional 10-gallon hat, but am no redneck--my political views are similar to Mr. Keillor's--have often been told I'm very good looking and look and act years younger than I am. No, I'm not full of myself, but am very comfortable in my own skin. Heck, I even have traditional manners, such as: holding the door open for you, helping you with your coat or chair, and believe in your always feeling safe.
I've read concerns women have about men's grooming habits. So I know that water should be used for more than just a chaser, and that Right Guard is to be used on the left side, too. Also, I enjoy good beer in moderation and never use tobacco or drugs. All that and a bag of chips--what more do you need?
I seek similar qualities in my female prairie-home companion--yeah, that includes being low maintenance, laid-back with a great sense of humor, being intelligent, independent as well as self-confident to the point of not feeling compelled to prove it, and are as pretty on the inside as what meets the eyes. I am not looking for Barbie--she's plastic, and so are most who resemble her. But you should be in your 40's or 50's--I'm 50ish--you take care of yourself, are HWP with some nice curves. Call me shallow, but you likely know what you like, too. Be sure to include a recent pic that's a good likeness, and I'll share one of me.
Assuming we hit it off, we can find a cozy place to grab a bite to eat after the show. If things really go well, we can have fun exploring possibilities; if not, then we've enjoyed a great show and maybe even enjoy a nice friendship. I live in the Boulder/Longmont area and really prefer that you live not much beyond that.
