Smart, edgy, challenging... platonic? m4w (I apologize if this is a re-post.)
I've happily lived here in Gainesville for ten -- gulp! eleven -- years, now. I've got a cute little house and a professional-level gig, and most importantly of all a great gang of clever, acerbic, engaging, but mostly paired-off friends. We enjoy the occasional gathering over food and/or beverages, but we've also been known to take the latest offerings at The Hipp, storm the art-walk, or just gather at someone's house for indie- or foreign flicks, a little live music, or to discuss each others' writing. We're sarcastic, open-minded, and unapologetiy liberal.
It's a terrific situation for me -- one I'm hesitant to complicate with a full-fledged relationship just at the moment, but it would be both more enjoyable for me and less clunky for the rest of my gang if I wasn't so frequently stag at these things, and besides that it would be a lot of fun to know one more person who brought her own constellation of characters and goings-on to the table, too.
