7 Parsippany students suspended over Web postings 13, PARSIPPANY. (AP) _ students from Parsippany High School are being Adult looking nsa Appleton Washington 98602 suspended for days each for postings on a Web site that contained and profanity about classmates and teachers. Dwyer, the district's interim superintendent, said the students used cell phone cameras to secretly photograph classmates and school employees without their permission. He said that is a violation of school rules. The postings on were found accidentally by a teacher several weeks ago. The students _ two freshmen, sophomores and two juniors _ admitted their roles in the postings, which have since been taken down. Their suspensions are to begin Monday. The parents of the students did not contest the suspensions, Dwyer saidHe said the suspensions had nothing to do with free speech, and were imposed because the were posted without permission. He would not describe the comments or that were posted. A parent who said she knows the students told the Daily Record of Parsippany that the postings were intended to be funny, not harmful. "These are not bad," DeJessa told the Daily Record for Thursday's newspapers. "It seems blown out of proportion."
