This is long but worth the read, I think Heres the thing: Im a realist. I dont believe in love at first sight, or that theres only one true love for us in the world, or any fairy tale stuff like that. I think that relationships are a partnership that require active engagement and participation from both people. Ive been told by past partners that when it comes to dating, love, relationships, etc I think more like a man than a woman. And for some people I think this could be a turn off or freak them out a bit. But Im holding out a bit of hope that someone is out there who can appreciate a woman with such a perspective as well as a man who can hold his own with a woman who doesnt *need* a man by her side, but instead simply *wants* him to be next to her.
If youre tracking so far, heres my basic outline of the kind of guy Im looking for:
- Single (if youre married or attached you can close out now, thanks)
- Kind (to old people, , etc)
- Solid morals/ethics (not talking about religion, theres a difference)
- Treats me with respect
- Likes (because I have two)
- Employed and contributing positively to society in some way
- Somewhat physiy attractive (hopefully someone other than your mom has said that youre handsome) and not larger than "chubby" or "could stand to lose a few pounds"
And heres a little about me:
